Energizer E2 Rechargeable "D" NiMH batteries offer less than one-fourth the performance: 2500mAh. (I personally consider Energizer NiMH "D" batteries to be a scam, since they are really just an AA-capacity battery wrapped with plastic to look like a "D" battery.)
